Description

Please be advised that this product is intricate and should be exclusively installed by trustworthy, seasoned, Victron-trained system installers.

It supports either 120/240V input and output or 120V input and output, with a consistent 120V output when in inverter mode. The AC input can be sourced from a split-phase 120/240V or single-phase 120V supply. When AC power is available, the MultiPlus-II will pass through the AC to its output, essentially mirroring the AC input.

During invert mode, the MultiPlus connects both output lines (L1 and L2) to deliver 120V to loads on either line. This ensures that heavy 240V loads, like water heaters or air conditioners, are powered only when the MultiPlus-II is supplied by a split-phase AC source, preventing battery discharge.

PowerControl and PowerAssist functions enhance grid or generator capacity by setting a maximum grid or generator current, allocating extra power for battery charging, and compensating for insufficient power from the grid or generator with battery power.

Featuring two AC outputs, the main output offers no-break functionality (UPS function), seamlessly supplying connected 120V loads in case of grid failure or power disconnection. The transfer time for the main output is less than 18 milliseconds, while the auxiliary output is active only when AC is available, suitable for loads that should not drain the battery.

For expanded power output, up to six MultiPlus-II units can operate in parallel, and three units can be configured for three-phase output. On-site system configuration, monitoring, and control are facilitated with Victron's VictronConnect software, while remote configuration and monitoring are enabled through the Cerbo GX or other GX devices connected to the internet, allowing access to operational data via the VRM website.
