A lithium battery conversion in the club car required the addition of a 48v to 12v DC to DC converter or buck converter. The blue wire is the 12 volt positive that will be connected to the buck converter. The black wire that has a "bullet connector" running to the controller behind the battery compartment is the negative 12v wire.
