Description

Please be advised that the installation of this product is complex and should only be conducted by reputable, experienced, Victron-trained systems installers.

The MultiPlus-II offers versatile input and output configurations, supporting either 120/240V input and output or 120V input and output, with a consistent 120V output when in inverter mode. It can be connected to a split-phase 120/240V source or a single-phase 120V source. When an AC source is available, the MultiPlus-II will pass through the AC to its output, mirroring the AC input.

In inverter mode, the MultiPlus-II switches to single-phase 120V output. For split-phase 120/240V output from inverted power, two MultiPlus-II units can be connected in parallel split-phase mode. In this mode, both output lines (L1 and L2) are connected to provide 120V to loads on either line, ensuring heavy 240V loads do not discharge the battery when supplied by a split-phase AC source.

The PowerControl and PowerAssist functions enhance grid or generator capacity by setting a maximum grid or generator current, allocating extra power for battery charging and compensating insufficient power from the grid or generator with battery power when needed.

With two AC outputs, the main output offers no-break functionality (UPS function), seamlessly supplying connected 120V loads in case of grid failure or power disconnection. The transfer time for the main output is less than 18 milliseconds, while the auxiliary output is live only when AC is available, suitable for loads that should not discharge the battery.

For expanded power output, up to six MultiPlus-II units can operate in parallel, and three units can be configured for three-phase output. On-site system configuration, monitoring, and control are easily managed with Victron's VictronConnect software, while remote configuring and monitoring are enabled through the Cerbo GX or other GX devices connected to the internet, allowing access to operational data via the VRM website.
