World's First Diesel to Electric conversion of MI JACK Reach Stacker, weighing 170,000 lbs. AGM Battery packs replace a Cummins 330 H.P. Diesel motor. A patented 2-stage DC electric motor powers the power train and hydraulic systems. On-Board battery charging system and charge status indicators seen on right-side. Battery compartment seen behind diamond plate hood. The conversion preserves all controls with exception of foot pedal with a electronic speed control.
This vehicle has been designed to meet current clean air standards at port operations required by CARB (California Air Resources Board).
