Was built for only one year, 2002. The vehicle is a 72V EV and was designed to operate on six 12V GEL deep cycle batteries. The batteries are connected in series and live under the front seat. Because the onboard charger located in the hood, is set for GEL type batteries only, we do not recommend any other battery chemistry without modifying the charger algorithm.
